A new way to get things out

Still a student

Almost a teacher

Runs late all the time

Always tries to smile

Happy with life, even in the hard times

Auntie Sarah’s Love

A little boy

he was so small.

When God decided

him to call.

I knew it was coming

he had been so sick.

But I never thought

it would be that quick.

Holding his hand

as he slipped from this world.

Ending up in our Heavenly Fathers hand

he is all safe and curled.

His life was so short

yet he taught me so much.

From loving people, smiling,

cherishing life and such.

I miss him more

then anyone could ever know.

I want to hold him, hug him,

and kiss him so.

He will never be forgotten

he  is in my heart to stay.

Auntie Sarah loves you Daniel

and will see you again someday.

In loving memory of

Daniel William Keith

September 10, 2007- February 18, 2009

Rain

A luscious kiss under the glistening

jewels descending from the dazzling sky

Splashing in puddles getting

soaked to the knee

An extravagant smell only

smelt from above

My Samuel and my most

favorite days

Cuddled up at home listening to the knocking

on the roof like the sweet pitter-patter

of little feet in a wooden floor

Capturing drizzle falling from the Heaven

to wash oneself in refugee camps

of Thailand

   Rain

Banana

                          Blackish

               Slippery Peels

          like an octopus

    mysterious like

          a crescent moon

                A meshy snack

                          Yummy

                                 Banana

All Types of Cookies

Cookies can come in all different shapes

But most are bumpy and round like grapes

They resemble the sun and moon above

And give our tummy’s lots of love

They are scrunchy, crunchy, enjoyable,

Foyable, mystique, on-freak, heighwire,

and don’t forget “say” “wire.” Thank you

Adam for those tremendous words

What kind of cookie was that I just heard?

Autobiography

Sarah

Creative, loving, smiley

The daughter of Buster and Teresa

Sister of Laura, Danny, and Mike

Who loves God, Samuel, and family

Who feels at my best when I am with my Samuel

Who gives love, smiles, and hugs

Who fears failure, break-ins, and the loss of family

Who would like to see my life in ten years

Who dreams of our wedding next summer

A student of life

Gaston soon to be Garrison

I am From…

I am from McDonald’s pancakes every Saturday morning, from cokes with no ice, and candy of all sorts.

I am from wherever family is, that is what I call home.

I am from opening a present Christmas Eve night before Santa comes, from Buster and Teresa the two greatest parents in the world.

I am from saying “thank yous” for everything, not fighting all love. From always saying yes mams and yes sirs, no mams and no sirs.

I am from God Almighty who loves me no matter what, who forgives me for my sins, and has planned my life before birth.

I am from Ft. Stockton Texas, the Gaston’s and the Brown’s from dinner cooked every night, no matter what it was it was good.

I am from pictures of all types on walls, in albums and in drawers, all showing memories that will last forever.

Forever

Colors of Life

Color, shapes, visions, form our layer of thinking, our seeing, feeling, touching, smelling, tasting, transform thoughts into dreams yet unseen. Patterns play tricks on our hearts and on our eyes, confusing to some, yet clear to others, a cross at the center, the center of what, of who? what is it trying to say, come, closer nearer, no! Stay away. Circle of life, ring of shapes, rays of light or life. inner circle, different parts of life. Colorful rays of life, beginning of life, different directions traveled. Fates tapestry is what we are weaving. Every thread is unique in hues of colors. Each adding its own mark to the destiny of the whole. Every direction of life is focused on one main point. This is the center of the world. Every ethnic background is tangled in it all. Understanding oneself to be open to new ideas. life, what a beautiful thing!
